Seven varieties

  If a particular grape varied is cultivated at different levels (altitudes) and a different kinds of soil, it’s characteristic change. According to the climatic conditions, the number and the quality of the grapes may change; their multiplicity makes it possible to balance three differences. During the assemblage stage the differences become a perfect whole, a synergy which is based upon diversity.

MEDITERRANEAN VARIETIES

  It is thought that all the varietals blended in Ampeleia, together with many other types originally came from the Middle and Far east. All flourished in the fields of the Mediterranean countries, particularly in Spain and France. Therefore, in a way, Ampeleia tells the history of the grape “ampelos”, yet it is a wine of our times.
